Back to update on what had happened in Burnei.... The camp there really sucks, it is worst than the camp in Taiwan. And most of all, it is even more schedule-packed than Taiwan, there was really no time to slack, every single minute we will be doing something. First we had our infantry package which was relatively ok except the 7 knolls (Woo, that was the killer for us during the walk!!!).
After which, we started off our JCC package with our navigation exercise, Ex Nomad something which my team did quite well to reach the ending point on the 2nd day evening. Then we started our survival part, I was thrown to 4Delta side where everyone said that the worst place will be in Delta but we were lucky enough as it did not rained a single bit except for a passby one. It was not fun being in the survival part as we need to drink from the "Ah Poi" river. Yes, river water.... It tastes salty and it looks brown!!!! Lastly, we had our E&E which was basically just walking for about 20km to our crossing site after starving for 5days in survival. It was definitely a challenge for most of us!!! But I felt rather lucky for our group as we were given a clear-cut route back and our group was not a bad one as got me inside so that is where all the fun lies..... Haha!!!! Sadly, I got fever on the 2nd day but I still held on and completed the thing on the 3rd day afternoon. And most of all, we were the first team back to camp!!!
Back in camp was all the administration work and also canteen break but the canteen really sucks because they just serve whatever they felt like selling, the menu they had was just for show. Unless you are an officer or someone with ranks, they will not bother to cook the specialty for you!!! Sick man..... But I was rather unlucky, the fever went up and down for 3 days before I was admitted into the medical center, I was being poked 2 times as the staff could not locate my veins and got dripped. Sleeping every single moment in the sick bay was good but I missed the graduation ceremony due to my fever, fortunately the course commandor came and present the badge to me in the sick bay itself.
In Taiwan, the R&R was really fun but in Burnei, it is called M&M (Meaning Mosque and more Mosque) so you can imagine what I mean right.... We had a day's tour around the major cities to visit the mosque and also its culture. It was not that bad especially the buffet dinner and lunch. I think is due to the survival part that made all of us felt very hungry and also the precious of food. No matter how much we take, we will finished it but thr problem now is we could only eat a small amout. Haha....
