Today marks the end of my CPC course, and it also means the start of me performing my duty as a commander. Hai.... Find that it is really stressful to face the recruits, 'cause they are so innocent and naive. Haha.... But never mind, I shall whack them until they know every single thing in BMTC. These few days, my role was simple as I just need to be around for training, see how things are run, not happy with the recruits then scold them. I think soon I will be growing old with more and more wrinkles. Keke.... On Tue, went to KBox with MJ, Reece and Wanni, a very last minute thing as I was already going to take bus back to SFT around 10pm. Guess MJ really know how to pick the time to call.... Hee~ Still, I enjoyed myself with their company as we have not met up for quite a long time.... These few days keep raining, so nice to sleep..... Yawnz~!~!~! zZZzzzzzz

A lazy week I must say, had not been working out as much as I did last week. The course also came to an end on Tue for the external units, then I received my posting to Raven Coy in BMT. Me and Kang Xun reported on Fri but there was nothing much for us to do, thus we decided to book out. Haha....
Meet up with Eunice for dinner at Plaza there, I had a pepper steak while she ordered a pepper chix. As we have not been meeting up for quite a long time, we eat, joke and chatted during our meal. I walked her home before I went home to prepare to go Momo with Eddie & Jeffery. Actually I wanted to go Zouk but I know that it will definitely been very crowded over there since they are reopening that very night. Maybe because of that, there was not many people in Momo, it was only after eleven then people started to come in. Then half-way through, I saw my sec sch friends and as usual, they opened 4 bottles. Haha... The worst thing comes, there was a raid that night and it lasted nearly an hour. Oh my god!!!!! But we still had fun for the night especially Eddie. Hee~
Sat, met up with Razee and Alfie to order and also collect our Comms Ball photos. As Razee and I did not order so we need to go down again in 2 weeks' time. After settling our orders and Alfie's purchase, we headed to Marina to catch a movie, "Transporter 2"!! Wow, although I never seen Transporter 1 before, but this show itself is good enough to feed your visual needs. The story, the fighting scenes and the cool stunts, it's liked a combination of the Matrix and Jackie Chan's fighting skills. So folks, please do go and catch the show!!! In the night, I went to Mdm Wong to join Shu Ling and her usual gang. The music was alright, but the crowd was not really that packed, the reason I can think of is, ZOUK.... But Mdm Wong now is quite different from the past, the music is more on dance now and there's also a new sector for R&B people. Nothing much happened also as her friends went off earlier than us but we also left soon after and went to eat prata before headed home...

A Comms Ball cum farewell dinner was held on Fri, 7 Oct at Grand Copthorne Waterfront. It was definitely a memorable night, with all the foods, entertainments and also photo taking moments. Something that only will happen once, as we can only commission once as officers. For the night, I was honoured to have Stella as my date, the reason being not many people liked these kind of functions and I got rejected too many times. I had to apologize to her as she had to rush down after her busy day at work. Everything was great, except my lousy camera which gave way during the midest of the dinner, low batt plus not enough memory space. Haiz.... Guess I will need to get one myself as the camera belongs to my brother. After the dinner, we stayed around for awhile, chit-chatting and also photo-taking. Some of us were thinking where to go but too bad Zouk was under renovation. So after the farewells and goodbyes, I send Stella back before I headed home...
The following Sat I headed down to town with a small gang, Razee, David, Bernie and Kang Xun with his gf to catch "40 year old virgin". The show was damn funny, I almost laughed until my stomach cramp. Lolz.... Those who have not watched it better go, cause it will be your loss if you don't. In the night, headed to Kenny's house for his birthday celebration, it was liked a Poly reunion but not many people went though, so sad.... But the topic for the night was not the birthday boy but one of my friend, Kee Wee. Imagine someone who was quite fat last time and now slim down so much, even his head don't fits his body. If you could imagine, big head and small body. Haha~ No offence...
The following week, I was in Tekong having my CPC (Commander's Prep Course), this is to prepare us for the task and role we will be doing there. Everyday was liked a routine, wake up then go for lectures, if not we will have PT lessons. I felt as if I was back in Secondary school and also in my CCA lessons. It is that boring, and everytime we will need to fight with the Zzz Monster. Lolz..... I don't know what was I doing, we got a nights' out on Thur 13 Oct, then I met Ziting for a drink but I will always drink green tea, so I changed. I drank Tiger beer, at that time I can really feel how and why all the uncles will always do that during late nights. Haha!! For a moment, I thought I was crazy.
On Fri after I booked out, I was deciding whether to go Chinablack or Momo but I chose Momo, although there was liked only 3 people, Me, Ziting and Jeffery but it was still fun. There was a lot of ladies that night compared to the nights I went before, then Jeffery was liked abit drunk over only a jug of burbem coke. Haha... Lousy man.... I was liked constantly disturbing him to make sure he was ok. I was also lucky, as I saw a lot of my friends, ranging from Sec sch, Poly and those in the army. The one whom created an impact was Lavina, I was really happy to see her because few months back, I heard from a friend that she was hit with a mishap, a very serious one but now she is alright and jumping around. Haha.... She even joked about how I danced saying, "Eh, you also know how to dance hip-hop ah? Thought you only know how to dance Techno...." The night went well and we headed home around 4am.
Sat was also a exciting day, had to go Dbl O that night as Shuling was celebrating her birthday there. Ha! I guessed you people by now will be thinking that I must be a super clubber right, but I have not been doing so for quite some time, so please understand! Hee.... The night was fun although not many people went, and the music don't really suits me. Retro for most of the night.... Sianz, but luckily there was still drinks and it was free, so I can drink until my hearts' full.

After commissioned, we had to go back OCS for a OM course, basically it is all the lessons on all the weapons over again but more in-depth. For the last three days in OCS, we really feel different, cadets had to salute us and we no longer had to march around. But we all kind of feel sad to leave, a place where we shed our sweat and blood together, the fun and challenges we been through, the cohestive environment. After the first day there, Razee, David and me went to PS to catch "The Duke Of Hazzard", if you guys want to laugh your hearts out, this show is a must-watch. But unfortunately, David was knocked out during the midest of the show, he fall asleep. Haha!!! Waste money man.... After the show we all went home, but I met up with Zhi Zhong as we went to Bernie house to play mahjong.
Had only 2 hours of sleep, then we had to go back to camp. Basically the whole day I was falling asleep, thus right after the OM course, I went back home to sleep. For the last day of the OM course, we continued to have the lessons on how to check the defects for the various weapons, and at the end of it, we were even given certificate. Like that also can get a cert, we all were surprised. Lolz... At that very night, most of my platoon mates headed to Bernie's house for a BBQ session and also a Winning-Eleven competition. At first the response was quite good but in the end, only liked half the platoon came. The fun and joy ended around 11pm where LTA Yau Khai had emerged the champion among all of us, some had went home earlier and the instructors were still there, by this time me, Guo Liang and Jianyi also took our leave.........

Finally, after 10 months being a trainee, I have graduated as an officer. And at the same time, on the 29 Sep last week, was my 1 year anniversary in the SAF. Time really flies, after going through BMT, SISPEC then OCS, commissioned as an officer just 2 days after my 1 year of service. The journey was really full of challenges and set-backs, but memories it shall stay with me....
On the commissioning day itself, my family attended the parade, just a simple one. Although I see some people who had a big group of friends and family with them, but I'm just glad that my small family could come. The parade itself did not really go as planned, we still made some drill mistakes during the parade, but we still show our professionalism in finishing the parade with style. After being announced as commission officer, we threw our peck-cap high up into the sky and jumped around liked mad people. Haha.... Then in the later part, I brought my mother and brother to have our dinner at the dining hall. Nothing interesting though, as we just eat and went off....
At the Wingline, we continued to take photos and also packed up our stuff to go home. For me, I had to rush to my friends' birthday at Pasir Ris and East Coast. So I liked to wish Wanjun and Roger a Happy 21st Birthday!!!
