Time to Love
Once upon a time, there was an island where all
the feelings lived:
Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the
others, including Love.
One day it was announced to the feelings that the
island would sink,
so they all prepared their boats and left.

Love was the only one who stayed.
Love wanted to stay with the island until it started
sinking.
When Love was almost sinking, he decided to ask
for help.

Richness came by Love in a beautiful boat.
Love said, "Richness, can you take me with you?"
Richness answered,
"No, I can't.. There is a lot of gold and silver in my
boat.
There is no place here for you."

Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing
by,
"Vanity, please help me!"
"I can't help you Love.
You are all wet and you may damage my boat,"
Vanity answered.

Sadness was close by so again
Love asked for help,
"Sadness, let me go with you."
"Oh...Love, I am so sad that I prefer to go alone!"

Happiness passed by Love too, but she was so
happy that she did not listen when
Love called her !!

Suddenly, there was a voice,
"Come Love, I will take you."
It was an elder.
Love became so happy that he even forgot to ask
the elder her name.
When they arrived on dry land, the elder went on
her own way.
Love asked Knowledge, another elder, the name of
the elder who had helped him.

"It was Time," answered Knowledge.
"Time? But why did Time help me?" asked Love.
"Because only Time is capable of understanding
how great Love is," answered Knowledge.

The moral of this wee story is:
"Take the time to know what Real Love is".

PS: To all PTEs, take care of yourself and good luck in the posting you got....

The kids have finally arrived..... Just as I expected, the kids are all from different background and some of them got designs all over their body. Not really scared but just curious about the designs they chose to put on them. Lolz.... Don't think wrongly, I'm not gay!!! It's been a few days since they came in, things are slowly taught to them but last night they just pissed me off.... I sat down and talked to them seriously which I normally don't behave this way.

I told them a lot of things, especially about their future, family and health. I also told them my standards and the way I do things. I ended off with, "I also got a limit, but once you break it, I'll just go crazy!" Hmm...., think again I think they freaked out after that. Haha... I'm also worried what I'll unleash to them, something that I have never done when I was still in Tekong. But my goal is to win them over, make sure they don't create any problems in camp or outside, let them finished their 2 years of service peacefully...

Although we were supposed to confine for 2 weeks, CO was nice enough to let us have 2 days' off, so I'm on off tmr. Yeah!!! Our CO is a very friendly guy, but he do things very differently from others and he likes to call my name... Yesterday, just had lunch with the Brigade Comd, I was just taking my food and CO ask me to sit in between them... Woo, it's an experience that not everyone will get. Although was abit shocked when CO called me, but eventually it was nothing.... Haha!!!

Going Zouk tonight to finish my bottle with some friends.... See ya!!!

PS: Hey PTEs, can you all please send me the pics!!!! Thanks

POP ==> Start of New Journey

Although there was still programs for the new PCs in the unit, it never stop me from going back to Tekong to see my boys graduate... Finally, I can say that the boys have grown up and is mature enough to fly out from Tekong. But whether they can survive the unpredictable weather, depends solely on themselves. I wish them luck and all the best in which directions they choose. Liked what I told PTE Ben, No Regrets!!!

Rushed back to Tekong to see the boys just before they form up in the Parade Square, wanted to give them a surprise as I did not told anyone about my return, but it failed. Some of them saw me before I can do anything. Anyway, I gave them a farewell speech and looked at each and everyone of them one last time! Of course, I also chat to some of my colleagues who are going to ORD soon.

My platoon.... Nothing much to say already, had said what I have to, if not they'll find me very naggy. As I looked upon their faces as I talked to them, everything just seems liked yesterday. From their enlistment to their POP, they have really grown up. Keep up the good work, PTEs!!!! I'm happy that I made it for their POP, seeing them stand tall upon the Parade Square really makes me proud! It was very emotional at that time but liked what I told the boys, "We don't cry, we only bleed"

Lastly, to all from Raven..... You take care SIO~

As the PTEs relax during their block leave, waiting for their postings. I will start work very soon and it will be another 13 weeks of training with the new kids in my unit. No rest at all... Sigh! Hopefully, this new batch will give me another kind of experience. God bless All....
