So much to write but not sure where to start..... Had our ATP (300m rundown shoot) on 16/8 and 17/8, we had to get 20/40 shot in order to pass, and if we don't, we will not get our "Combat Skills Badge". Other than just shooting a pass, a lot of us actually were aiming for marksman as we will get another badge by the side of our shoulder and also some incentive. During the first day of shooting, we did a lot of practice shoot to prepare us for the real thing which happens the coming day. On the actual day itself, everybody were eagerly excited to start. But by the end of the day shoot, not many people got at least 16/24 because you need 32/40 to get marksman, and there will be a night shoot of 16 rounds so there was still a slight chance for them. And by the end of the night shoot, only 7 marksman emerged. One of them is me....(",)

Had watermanship training off the coast of Punggol End on Thurs, riding in the assault boat travelling back and forth, just by sitting inside made us all feel so sleepy. Haha!!! Book out on Sat from Clementi camp as they were hosting a carnival that day. Hit the gym in the evening before joining Shuling and gang to Cineleisure for a movie "Bewitched".

This week were more about physical training, other than running and running, we also went to the camp's gym and a lot of extra training. It's tough but it's for our own good I guess. Other than the physical torture, we also had to learn a new weapon, the "Matador" a anti-tank weapon. Nothing new as it is quite similiar to the old one, just that the present one is much more heavier and bulky. And just because of this weapon, I had to book in tonight as we got a live firing of the weapon tomorrow.

Yesterday (26/8) headed town to have Sakae Sushi with Ah Huat and Shuling in the evening, then headed Clarke Quay to meet my friends as we will be going to club MoMo. But when I got there at 2045, I saw nobody so I felt that something was wrong. I called Jeffery and asked where is he, he said he is at home and told me was meeting 2145. Gosh.... Then I called my planner, Mr Darren telling me he told them 2045 but he sent the message to them was 2145. Haha... I guess I am just unlucky, but fortunately I was meeting Ziting at that very time also. So we took a stroll along Riverside Point before proceeding on to the club. Most of my friends were all virgin to the club, so they were not so sure about how to go and I had to guide them myself. Lol.... It took awhile before we all really got together. Finally, everyone (Darren, Jeffery, Pin Han, Qunjie & Yanren) is here!!! Let's get the party started..... Hit the dancefloor staright away as it was Hip Hop and R & B, but not long after it was playing Trance and we hit the live band section to get away from it. Went back to finish off the night when it was playing our music again before we set home. The crowed was really good except those uncles and aunites plus some drunkard who think they danced liked Usher. Haha.... Saw quite a number of friends in the club too, one of them was actually working there promoting shots for $10, so as a friend I must lend a hand. Then other than seeing the owner, I saw someone else, Le Yao. For those who don't watch TV, go to Channel 8 and you might see her. Lol.... Had not been in a club for a month plus already, feeling great and "shiok" but my legs are breaking soon. Hopefully next time round, more people can join us liked Eddie, Wei wei and Zwee.....

It has been a long weekend for me, but it seems that I'm abit lost at what to do... That's strange for someone liked me, someone who used to love clubbing but all seems to be a change after I came back, not very active anymore.

When I first touched down in Singapore on Mon around 5pm, headed home straight from Paya Lebar Airbase. Received a call from Janet who was trying to pose as Meijuan and she succeed in it because I think I was so blur. Haha.... Went town to meet them up to discover that actually we got no plans of what to do there, but fortunately Meijuan who finally passed her TP decided to drive us to Chomp Chomp for supper. I must really comment on her driving, really very "good"!!! Hee... Still needs more practice I guess. To my surprise, when we wanted to ask more people out but mostly were not free, we saw a few friends there itself. There was first my juniors from SGS, then we saw Seetoh and Dexuan. Had a little chat with Dexuan who came later until 1 plus before we decided to hit the road.

Booked out on Thur night and headed to Bernie's house for a little BBQ. The food was great as it just keeps coming and eveyone had their tummy full. We also had a KTV session where Shin Kai alone was the star of the night. It was getting late and I did not wanted to stay overnight so me and SK decided to hitch a ride from one of our instructors. We were lucky enough to catch the last train back to AMK but after I reached there, I guess there were no more buses thus I headed home in a cab.

Fri was a peaceful day, I accompany my mother to "Si Ma Lu" to go to the famous temple for a little praying session before heading to Bugis Village for a walk. Afterwhich we went to Bugis Junction for a walk and saw our Birthday boy for that day, Reece and company. Then I brought my mum to Bishan for a dinner session at "Ding Tai Feng" and headed home after that. In the night, I met up with Meijuan who haven't eaten her dinner at our nearby coffeeshop with Zumei showing up later. Had a little chat before we saw Deqing walking by and also ended up with us talking in the small table.

Sat was even more peaceful, did not really plan well for that day because I wanted to catch a movie but time just keeps flying by until I decided to skip it and go for a volleyball hangout at my usual hotspot. Fortunately, my buddy from OCS sms me for supper at Chomp Chomp with Zwee, of course with no programs after the game, I decided to join them. They were surprise that I did not go clubbing when they came to fetch me. Haha... Then we also called up Johnny who happened to stay Hougang too. Thus 4 OCS cadets went out for a little chit chat session at Chomp Chomp.

Sun was a family day, my brother brought his little family to our house and I was caught sleeping by him and my little niece. To my surprise, I find that my niece had grown up quite a lot after weeks without seeing her. But still, she remains adorable and cute!!! The whole day was just resting at home, eating and sleeping. Soon, I'll be a pig.... Lolz... And now, I am preparing to book in to my faraway camp in Boon Lay.... Sianz!!! More updates next week. Cya~

PS: Thanks Ziting for your cookies.... Will eat them when I feel that I'm not a pig. Haha!!!

Back to update on what had happened in Burnei.... The camp there really sucks, it is worst than the camp in Taiwan. And most of all, it is even more schedule-packed than Taiwan, there was really no time to slack, every single minute we will be doing something. First we had our infantry package which was relatively ok except the 7 knolls (Woo, that was the killer for us during the walk!!!).

After which, we started off our JCC package with our navigation exercise, Ex Nomad something which my team did quite well to reach the ending point on the 2nd day evening. Then we started our survival part, I was thrown to 4Delta side where everyone said that the worst place will be in Delta but we were lucky enough as it did not rained a single bit except for a passby one. It was not fun being in the survival part as we need to drink from the "Ah Poi" river. Yes, river water.... It tastes salty and it looks brown!!!! Lastly, we had our E&E which was basically just walking for about 20km to our crossing site after starving for 5days in survival. It was definitely a challenge for most of us!!! But I felt rather lucky for our group as we were given a clear-cut route back and our group was not a bad one as got me inside so that is where all the fun lies..... Haha!!!! Sadly, I got fever on the 2nd day but I still held on and completed the thing on the 3rd day afternoon. And most of all, we were the first team back to camp!!!

Back in camp was all the administration work and also canteen break but the canteen really sucks because they just serve whatever they felt like selling, the menu they had was just for show. Unless you are an officer or someone with ranks, they will not bother to cook the specialty for you!!! Sick man..... But I was rather unlucky, the fever went up and down for 3 days before I was admitted into the medical center, I was being poked 2 times as the staff could not locate my veins and got dripped. Sleeping every single moment in the sick bay was good but I missed the graduation ceremony due to my fever, fortunately the course commandor came and present the badge to me in the sick bay itself.

In Taiwan, the R&R was really fun but in Burnei, it is called M&M (Meaning Mosque and more Mosque) so you can imagine what I mean right.... We had a day's tour around the major cities to visit the mosque and also its culture. It was not that bad especially the buffet dinner and lunch. I think is due to the survival part that made all of us felt very hungry and also the precious of food. No matter how much we take, we will finished it but thr problem now is we could only eat a small amout. Haha....

Yes!!!! I am finally back..... Together with something, my JCC (Jungle Confidence Course) badge. I was back on the 8th instead of 7th because they continued what they have planned initially, a one-day tour around Burnei. Training there was really tough but I should say more in my next entry as I need to book in on a National Day evening.... Boring~
